Ghost Bike

Ghost Bike began in 2002 as an ongoing project in response to the passing of bicycles that are stripped and abandoned on the streets of San Francisco. I see them as 'dead bikes' and paint their skeletal remains to emphasize their ghostlike quality. This is the online chronicle of the project.
